COVID-19 & Swim Lessons
The CDC says that COVID-19 does not spread through the chlorine used to sanitize our water.
Additionally, our pool room is ventilated in a way that is much safer than other indoor spaces, making it equivalent to an outdoor space. In fact, the government considers our pool room an outdoor area for COVID-19 guideline purposes.
As of January 1, 2021, Maley Swim School is taking the following actions in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19:
- Sanitizing all facilities, including our pool decks, mats, pool toys, door handles, etc. as frequently as possible.
- Requiring any customers ages 5 and older on Maley Swim School property to wear face coverings at all times.
- Arranging our indoor observation facility with a one-way traffic pattern in order to prevent person-to-person contact when avoidable.
These policies are in place for the protection of our customers as well as our staff members. Customers who choose not to follow our protocols will be denied service and will not be issued a refund, account credit, withdrawal, deferment, commitment waiver, or makeup token.
We reserve the right to modify COVID-19 policies at any time with or without notice and/or to adhere to government protocols. Thank you for your understanding during this fluid situation.
